Style guide: Boots

Women love shoes, women love boots. A great pair of boots is one of the best things about the fall/winter season. Together with the perfect all-weather jacket, a great pair of boots should be functional and supremely stylish, with the ability to complement every outfit. Boots can command attention and transform any look, for the day or evening. Here are the biggest boot trends of this season:

RIDING BOOTS

This is a timeless style, this type of boots were originally made to be used for horse riding. Now days these type of boots are characterized by their relatively low heels, sturdy toe, and knee-high length. Riding boots give sleek and polished look. They look great with skinny jeans, leggings, and even dresses. Try wearing these boots with a sweet floral dress with chunky knit cardigan or leather jacket.

CHELSEA BOOT

These are casual boots of simple design and this season they have a wedge. They go great with jeans, leather pants and leggins to create casual but chic look.

BIKER BOOT

The biker boot (or so called motorcycle boots) trend has been around for years now. It is casual, cool, comfortable and gives street feel. Even Chanel had them in their 2011 collection. Try adding biker boots to leather pants or jeans and a leather jacket.

WEDGE BOOTS

Wedge boots are one of the most comfortable boot silhouettes. It gives enough height but it is less feminine. Combined with leather pants, wedge boots can really make a chic statement.
